Let's Get You Inbound Marketing Certified!

Okay, so you need to take the inbound marketing certification exam? Or you want to learn more about Inbound Marketing itself?

Well, you are not alone - it is quite a bit of information! I quickly realized it when I began to look over the the HubSpot Academy. This was going to take some serious dedication and I was determined to pass as quickly as possible so I could move on with my work.

The experience took me back to college. It was a throwback to studying 101. What worked for me then had to work for me now. So let me share a few tips with you so you can pass on your first try. Let’s get organized and create a plan of action!

First things first, COFFEE. Find yourself a cup...or 5.

HubSpot has a wealth of tools to utilize for studying to be an effective inbound marketer, including;

Prepare for the test

Print out that study guide! As you watch the videos, fill out study guide. Get confused during the videos? Review the transcripts under resources tab below each video.

Crowd source your success by searching through Quizlet for others who have completed the certification for you. They've already done the work, use it to your advantage! There is even a Quizlet app for your phone.

HubSpot's Inbound Marketing Certification is also mobile friendly! Here's a link to the podcast. I listened to the podcast while driving during my morning commute and finished the videos fast.

Once you feel confident, it’s time to take the exam.

You are ready! You’ll be done in 45 minutes tops.

If you fail, you can take it again after 24 hours. You are allowed to take the test up to three times in a month. Use your exam results to review the sections you struggled with and review more thoroughly for next time. Good luck!
